Türk Loydu Became a Member of CEOC International

Türk Loydu, whose main purpose is to improve corporate recognition through international area and protect international interests among sectors served, became an official member of Confederation of Inspection and Certification Organizations – CEOC in the 56th General Assembly of CEOC International in The Hague, Netherlands.
Türk Loydu membership was approved in the General Assembly and the membership certificate was given by CEOC International President Sima Hassi to Director of Industry and Certification Sector and Member of Executive Board Ayfer Adıgüzel of behalf of Türk Loydu.
CEOC International, founded in Brussels in 1961, is a not-for-profit organisation that represents 31 independent inspection and certification organisations in 22 countries. CEOC International members are serving inspection and certification services in all fields of daily lives and industrial activities such as transportation, industry, health and food. Promoting safety and reduce accidents through independent conformity assessments is one of the main purposes of CEOC International.
Other aims and activities of CEOC International are:
- Promoting safety and reducing accidents through independent conformity assessment.
- Representing the common interests of sector, as well as those of members, to the EU institutions and to all European or international organisations and associations dealing with directives, regulations, standards and accreditation.
- Keeping members informed of significant matters (with respect to the above), and establishing CEOC International positions for them to follow.
- Addressing concerns related to safety, quality and the environment.
