Turk Loydu visited DNV GL Maritime Headquarters located in Hamburg, Germany in order to meet with senior managers of the world’s biggest classification society, DNV GL. Turk Loydu delegation including Chairman of the Board Mr. Cem Melikoglu, Marine Sector Director Mr. Okan Cetin and Manager of External Affairs Mr. Mehmet Avci. Mr. Torsten Schramm, DNV GL President Maritime and Member of Executive Board, Mr. Christian Cabos, Head of Dept. Information Management Technologies, Mr. Bernhard Löbermann, Senior Training Advisor and Mr. Rasmus Stute, Director of Approval joined the meeting.
During the meeting possible opportunities regarding the mutual cooperation of two classification societies have been discussed.  DNV GL’s IACS experience and Turk Loydu's IACS membership process have also been discussed during the meeting.
 
It was agreed to enhance the mutual cooperation between two societies at the end of the meeting.
