Türk Loydu Type Approval Certificate of Alarm Monitoring and Control System produced for the first time in Turkey by Hakan Elektrik ve Otomasyon using national resources was delivered with the ceremony organized in Türk Loydu Head Office.

Türk Loydu, coming to the forefront with the supports it offers to Turkish shipbuilding and sub-inustries continues to make a name for itself with the services it offers to national sub-industry companies within the scope of nationalization move as well. It was explained that Alarm Monitoring and Control System where national resources were used by Hakan Elektrik ve Otomasyon for the first time in Turkey, which contains significant technological developments and which has local software was entitled to receive “Türk Loydu Type Approval Certificate” within the scope of those works.

Cem Melikoğlu, Chairman of Board of Directors of Türk Loydu Foundation; Alper Eralp, the General Manager; Maritime Sector directors and Ahmet Zurnacı,  General Manager of Hakan Elektrik ve Otomasyon as well as directors and employees of Hakan Elektrik ve Otomasyon participated in the Type Approval Certificate delivery ceremony organized in Türk Loydu Head Office on 20th February 2018.

Ahmet Zurnacı who made a speech in the ceremony following the presentation on information about the process of Type Approval Certification carried on by Türk Loydu for the Alarm Monitoring and Control System produced by Hakan Elektrik ve Otomasyon stated that they continued their voyage which started with production of alarm monitoring systems for vessels and achieved a position of being able to produce the control systems which realizes automation up to 15 generators, to which systems including load management system, navigation lights, BNWAS with the works of their R&D team performed in day and night works together with reputable institutions including Aselsan, Tübitak and Türk Loydu and added that, “At that point it was observed that the products produced needed to be certificated with respect to the standards they respond and they realized an efficient work with Türk Loydu, our national institution”. Ahmet Zurnacı who stated that “they produced their products using local means and capacities and contributed to national vessel subsidiary industry in many fields” further stated that they have realized more than seventy projects so far and provided that foreign currency amounting approximately 15 Million Euros to stay in the homeland with those projects and at the same time, they contributed to sharing the knowledge acquired thanks to production of these products using national resources in the sector.

Ahmet Zurnacı who added that “The Type Approval Certificate they received from Türk Loydu would provide significant support to their Defense Industry projects” further stated that “they would benefit from the advantages of having Türk Loydu Type Approval Certificate not only within the homeland but also in the export projects to be performed abroad and they thanked to Türk Loydu who have always supported them in these processes”.

Cem Melikoğlu, Chairman of Board of Directors of Türk Loydu Foundation who made a speech in the ceremony stated that “Türk Loydu provided all possible support for nationalization attempt of  our company; certificated the products of national producers according to the necessary standards and increased the brand value of their company” and added that national certification attempt provided foreign currency to our country and increased knowledge and experience of our producers and thus they developed their sectors. Mr. Cem Melikoğlu congratulated Hakan Elektrik ve Otomasyon, the producer of Type Approval Certificate for which Type Approval Certificate was delivered and emphasized that as Türk Loydu, they would continue to provide support for Turkish Vessel Construction Industry all the  time”.
