The kick-off meeting of the Erasmus + KA2 Vocational Training Strategic Partnership project SEAMAP “Searching the Extensive Application at Maritime Protocol” under the coordination by Lucent Maritime and Consultancy was held in İstanbul Nidya Hotel Galataport conference hall on 12 February 2018.

The opening speech of the meeting was hosted by Timur Makzume, Chairman of the LAM Group of Companies. Okay Kılıç, Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Assistant General Director for Maritime and Inland Regulation, Mehmet Kalyoncu, Deputy Governor of Istanbul, responsible for the Karaköy Port Administrative Authority , Metin Kalkavan, Chairman of the Maritime Chamber of Commerce, Erkan Dereli Chairman of the TÜRDEF, officials from business and maritime education sector and representatives of the project partnership from Turkey and abroad attended the meeting.

SEAMAP project; aims to bring all the stakeholders in the maritime field together on the same platform by creating awareness in the fields of work force, career, entrepreneurship and training opportunities by providing cooperation with training, training personnel and maritime sector organizations. Tuzla Governorship, Turk Loydu, Sea Teach from Spain, Constanta (Constanta) Maritime University from Romania, Danmar Computers from Poland, are the other partners of the SEAMAP project. Representatives from the project partners came together to discuss the project outputs, project implementation - management and dissemination strategies after the official opening speech.
