Lutfu Savaşkan was appointed as the General Manager of Turk Loydu Conformity Assessment Services Corp., one of the subsidiaries of Turk Loydu Foundation.

Turk Loydu Board of Directors appointed Mr. Lutfu Savaşkan, as the General Manager of Turk Loydu Conformity Assessment Services Corp. as of 29.09.2018. Mr. Savaskan is an experienced manager of Turkish maritime sector.

Lutfu Savaşkan, who has 32 years of experience in various levels of maritime sector and has served as a manager in different positions within this period, graduated from Istanbul Technical University Naval Architecture and Machinery Engineering in 1986. He studied at Vienna Technical University in 1987 and later on at Sabanci University. He holds a master's degree in Business Administration for Managers. After 10 years of service at Germanischer Lloyd, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of Marmara Shipyard, Transal Shipping, Dearsan Shipyard, Dearsan Savunma and Altınbaş Group, as a member of the Executive Committees and as a General Manager.

Mr. Lutfu Savaskan, who will make an important difference in both the IACS membership and EU recognition processes of Turk Loydu with his / her knowledge and experience, stated during the meeting with the personnel of the Company that 2019 will be a challenging but important year . He said that he was confident that Turk Loydu would reach the heights he deserved.
