Military Floating Dock Constructed According to Türk Loydu Class Rules, Delivered to Turkish Armed Forces

The floating dock built at the HAT-SAN shipyard was delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces. With the contract signed between the Military Factory and Shipyard Administration (ASFAT) and HAT-SAN, the military floating dock, which was built according to Türk Loydu Class rules, was completed.
Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar and Turkish Armed Forces officials attended the ceremony held for the military floating dock, which was started to be used within the Izmir Shipyard Command and which pooled TCG Bayraktar in its first mission.
The first task of the floating dock, which is one of the largest floating docks ever built in Turkey, with a length of 42 meters and a lifting capacity of 10 thousand tons, was the amphibious tank landing ship TCG Bayraktar (L-402). The floating dock pooled TCG Bayraktar, which is 139 meters long and 20 meters wide.
