The first ship of the Pakistan MİLGEM Corvette Project, Babur (F-280), was launched at the ceremony held at the Istanbul Shipyard Command.

The ship, designed to be able to stay in water for 15 days without interruption, will be 100 meters long and 14 meters wide and its maximum speed will be 26 knots.

Using the knowledge of Istanbul Shipyard Command and Türk Loydu in the field of military shipbuilding, it is aimed to deliver the first ship to the Pakistan Navy in 2023.
