Turk Loydu is once again achieved "High Performance" status on the Paris MoU Performance Table
The Paris Memorandum of Understanding (Paris MoU), which is considered as the first and the most comprehensive PSC regime in the world has announced the new "Performance Table of Recognized Organization" regarding the port state control results covering the years 2018 - 2020. Türk Loydu managed to maintain its "High Performance" status, as it has been for the last 16 years.
Türk Loydu succeeded to leave behind many international classification societies including some of IACS member organizations and proved that it will continue to improve its fleet monitoring applications every year.
As a result of Türk Loydu's "High Performance" status; ships in Türk Loydu fleet are less likely to be inspected by the port state controls in Paris MoU member states.
Cem Melikoğlu, Chairman of Türk Loydu Foundation, made a statement about Türk Loydu's Paris MoU success and said that; "Türk Loydu once again stated High Performance in the Paris MoU Performance Table of Recognized Organizations. We are honored to achieve this status for the 16th year in a row. With the support of fully digital Turk Loydu Fleet Monitoring and Risk Assessment applications that we have developed, Turk Loydu has managed to maintain its high-quality standards and superior service performance. Turk Loydu managed to overtake many classification societies including some of IACS members and prove its high performance among the other classification societies with this performance. We will continue to be one of the leading organizations in the maritime industry."
The performance of Turk Loydu also contributed to the performance of Turkish Flag
The performance of Turk Loydu, which has the most Turkish flagged fleet in Turkey, also contributed to the performance of the Turkish Flag State. Turkey moved to the Top 16th rank in the Paris MoU White Flag List.
