IACS
As of 2023, we have become a full member of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) in line with our goals in maritime safety, environmental protection, and sustainability.
In 2022, following audits conducted by independent auditors, we were awarded the "Certificate of Compliance" under the Quality Management Certification System (QSCS), which is IACS's most important standard. This achievement further solidified our goal of becoming a significant player in the international maritime industry with our IACS membership formalized in 2023.
IACS is an organization committed to the mission of "safe ships and clean seas," contributing to maritime safety through conformity verification, technical support, research, and development. IACS member classification societies cover more than 90% of the world's cargo tonnage. In alignment with this mission, we are committed to maintaining our dedication to ethical values, sustainability, innovation, and professional competence.
With our IACS membership, we have focused on adopting international standards and best practices and integrating this approach into all our processes. This step has enabled our growing organization and quality-oriented service approach to gain international recognition.
As part of our IACS membership, we have also undertaken the responsibility of actively participating in working groups. Our expert team plays significant roles in IACS's collaborations with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and other maritime organizations. This includes participating in the creation of new regulations, updating existing ones, serving on project teams, and actively attending IMO meetings.
In addition, we actively contribute to the IACS Council, General Policy Group, and Quality Committee, along with panels such as Hull, Machinery, Survey, Environment, Safety, Safe Decarbonization, and Safe Digital Transformation. We also participate continuously in specialist groups such as Materials & Welding, the European Union, Management Systems, Surveyor Safety, GBS, and FSA. Through these efforts, we have contributed to working group meetings, playing a vital role in the exchange of knowledge and expertise on an international scale.
In line with our continuous improvement and development goals, we actively participate in collaborative digital environment projects. Through these IACS-related activities, we strengthen our position and knowledge base while contributing to global maritime safety standards, making a significant impact worldwide.
With our established history and expertise, we have participated in numerous national and international ship projects, offering reliable classification services with a diverse fleet ranging from bulk carriers to container ships, tankers to Ro-Ro vessels. Our IACS membership represents a significant step towards becoming a symbol of assurance, quality, and international reputation for our current and potential stakeholders.
With our innovative and excellence-driven approach in maritime safety, environmental protection, and sustainability, we are determined to continue enhancing our competitiveness and the quality of our processes in the industry.
