AS/EN 9100 Aviation, Space, Defense Quality Management System
Developed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG), the AS 9100 Aviation Quality Standard is a document that can be obtained by organizations whose main activity is to provide maintenance, repair and total services for commercial aviation and military products, equipment manufacturers or organizations with manufacturing/product operations. When it comes to quality in the aviation sector, the first thing that comes to mind is the concept of “safety”. For this reason, the standard was created by developing the ISO 9001 standard, adapting it to the sector and testing it, and adding the unique conditions required by civil/military aviation and space activities. The specific titles of the standard are as follows.
