Commercial Ship

Main target of Turk Loydu(TL), as an independent, impartial, reliable, specialised, "Classification Society", is to safeguard life, property and environment, governed by a Code of Ethics by rendering survey, audit and certification services.

Classification Surveys of vessels are carried out by a broad and specialized team of TL Surveyors, in any port of the World and in accordance with the relevant sections of Turk Loydu Rules, in which the terms and conditions of the surveys are specified. Upon satisfactory completion of the survey a Certificate of Class will be issued or periodically endorsed to retain the vessel as classed with the society.

Class postponement or extension requests, required from time to time by ship owners for various reasons, are promptly evaluated and finalized by experienced Head Office staff.

Statutory surveys are carried out based on a broad range of granted Flag State Administration authorizations and the scope and procedure of each survey determined as per International Conventions and Codes and additional requirements by the Flag State Administrations. Exemption requests made by the Ship Owners were immediately assessed and concluded by exchanging necessary correspondence with Flag Authorities.

TL EASY is Turk Loydu Ship Information System and anyone can access the Ship Registry Book information without any login information. Also, the owners and the managers may have access to the survey status information of their ships and make any type of survey request by using TL EASY. In order to login to the system they are required to take register information (Username and Password) from TL Head Office.

In addition to periodical survey services , TL Ships in Service Division also carries out ad-hoc surveys such as condition assessment, damage/repair and pre-condition by its experienced surveyors using their extensive expertise and experience.
