Material, Product and Test Certification

Material, Product, and Test Certification is the process of verifying the compliance of materials and products intended for use in marine projects with the rules and standards, under the supervision of a Türk Loydu surveyor. The inspection and testing steps are followed as specified in Türk Loydu rules according to the type of project and the product’s intended use.

The supervision of the inspection/test process takes place at the production facilities of qualified manufacturers and/or accredited laboratories.

For products requiring project approval, the primary step of "plan approval" is implemented, and a "product certificate" is issued. "Test certificates" are issued for products that have type approval certificates or do not require plan approval as per the rules.

An application before production is essential for material, product, and test certification.

As Türk Loydu, we provide on-site certification services with our expert surveyors and technical personnel to companies and suppliers located worldwide.

To obtain Türk Loydu Material, Product, and Test Certification, companies are required to fill out the application form and email it, along with a signature and stamp, to “mp@turkloydu.org".
